What Locals Say about Floral Park

Floral Park buzzes with small-town ease: safe streets, walkable blocks, quick NYC commute, parks, pool. People love the safety, good schools, walkable dining, parks, and easy train commute. They gripe about high taxes, pricey homes, no overnight street parking, few dog parks.

Many families have multiple generations that have raised their children here, the elementary and high school are small and well regarded, there is a beautiful community pool and recreation center, everything is extremely walkable which is a benefit when kids enter the tween stage."
